What is the Vast
Left Wing Conspiracy?
The Vast Left Wing
Conspiracy (VLWC) was founded by a group of young, politically savvy,
progressive-minded individuals who feel politics should never be boring. The
goal of the Conspiracy is to introduce as many people as possible to innovative,
progressive groups through FUN and FREE events. Many interesting and
creative organizations have already sprung up across the country to promote
various issues, fundraise for the Democratic cause, and get out the progressive
vote in November. The VLWC brings these groups together to create a national
network of like-minded individuals all working to put progressive issues back on
the political agenda. By combining forces and energizing a new generation of
creative political activists, the VLWC will produce a vibrant and unified base
of support for November and beyond.
In addition to monthly
happy hours in cities across the country, the VLWC supports members with
fundraising, seminars, and dinners covering topics such as grassroots efforts,
media attention, and policy issues. In addition, smaller events featuring
one or two member organizations are arranged to give potential activists the
opportunity to learn more about specific efforts. Join us and put the “party” back into the Democratic

America Coming Together:
America Coming Together is the largest voter mobilization project in American
history. Knocking on doors and speaking the truth, ACT canvassers are laying the
groundwork to defeat George W. Bush and elect Democrats in federal, state, and
local elections in 2004

ReDefeat Bush: The Committee to ReDefeat the President
("ReDefeat Bush") is a political action committee that raises money primarily
through the sale of ReDefeat Bush merchandise. The group registers voters in key
battleground states using ReDefeatBush Calling Crew volunteers, with a goal of
reaching one million new voters.
